Welcome to Maritzburg Preparatory Preschool. 

At our school we cater for children from Gr RRR (the year they turn 4) through to Grade R. 

As a Christian school we provide a Christ centred environment, where prayer, devotional times and Bible learning are key values for us. We aim to see our preschool children happy, confident, content and full of courage as they progress through our school.  

Our curriculum, taught by fully qualified teachers, includes numeracy, literacy and life skills which are incorporated in their day to day learning. This is accomplished through incidental learning, play and teacher-directed activities.                                                                

At Maritzburg Preparatory Preschool we learn through play! 

We gather information through our senses!                                                        

We develop our fine and gross muscles, indoors and outdoors.    

We aim to grow daily in our social and emotional skills.  

We incorporate exciting, fun outings, Educate and Fascinate presentations and educational puppet shows through Puppet World. We also participate in our sports day as well as the end of year school concert. Our Grade R classes participate in the annual school gala. These enrich and enhance our themes providing an educational, child-centred experience about the world around them.
